2025 HSPT Prep

in partnership with Bishop O’Dowd

HSPT prep WORKSHOP
Grade 8th | Price: $115+

Classroom Matters and Bishop O’Dowd are teaming up once again to bring you a high-quality HSPT preparation workshop!

This 3.5 hour workshop will help students gain familiarity with the test, introduce them to test-taking strategies, and review practice problems with answer explanations.

FORMAT:

  • 9:00-10:00am: classroom management logistics, introduction to the test, test-taking strategies, start Verbal section

  • 10:00-10:10am: BREAK

  • 10:10-11:10am: continue Verbal section, Reading, Language sections

  • 11:10-11:30am: SNACK BREAK

  • 11:30am-12:30pm: Math sections, practice questions & answers review

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • A comprehensive, student-friendly HSPT manual

  • Experienced teachers who know how to work with different types of learners

  • Exposure to the test format and scoring procedures

  • Practice with the five sections: Verbal, Quantitative, Reading, Mathematics, and Language Arts

  • Effective test-taking strategies

PRACTICE EXAMS (OPTIONAL):
Classroom Matters has a partnership with Test Innovators to offer HSPT online practice exams. These are available as add-ons to the workshop.

  • 1 full test - $58

  • 2 full tests + 700 practice exercises - $175

IN-DEPTH CONTENT REVIEW:

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you must cancel your registration, a refund (minus processing fees) will be provided if cancellation is made at least 4 weeks before the start of the class. Cancellation inside 4 weeks will be applied as a credit towards other Classroom Matters services. If the credits are applied to another workshop, a $10 change fee will apply. For all late registrations (after it has closed), a $20 fee will apply. Any cancellations that are within 4 days (96 hours) of the start of the workshop will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
