Statement of Agreement

Thank you for choosing Classroom Matters and for the opportunity to work with your family. We are pleased to provide your family with the following services: 

• Individual support in academic subject areas with an emphasis on study skills and organization.

• Access to computers with high‐speed internet.

• Use of all student resources in our center.

• Documentation of tutoring sessions.

• Regular feedback via session reports sent by email.

• Communication with teachers at the beginning of the tutoring relationship in order to establish contact and obtain information when necessary.

• Teacher contact by email or phone when necessary. 

• Family meetings to discuss shared concerns and to problem‐solve issues when necessary (billed at the same rate as tutoring).

• Changes made to tutor assignments as appropriate.

• Changes made to student learning and center rules as appropriate to facilitate a comfortable learning environment.

• Advance notification of changes in our fees and charges. 

• Credits for referring your family and friends.

We request that your family agree to the following terms:

• Facilitate your child’s regular and punctual attendance at Classroom Matters. If your student’s tutor or the administrative staff is required to stay later than agreed upon due to late pick‐up, you are subject to a late pick‐up fee of $25.

• Inform us of schedule changes or cancellations (a charge will be applied without 24 hours’ notice).

• Be available via email/phone to discuss your child’s progress.

• Facilitate teacher contact if we are unsuccessful.

• Communicate your concerns to the directors.

• Give us any course information, progress reports, grade reports and teacher feedback that you receive.

• Pay your family’s fees to Classroom Matters in full and on time.

• If you are not completely satisfied or for any other reason wish to terminate your student’s participation at Classroom Matters, you are completely free to do so. We will promptly refund any unused funds.

• We expect our clients to be respectful of our space, our tutors and most of all themselves and each other. We reserve the right to refuse services.

• Classroom Matters and its personnel are mandated reporters. Disclosures of abuse, neglect and harm to self or others will be reported to the proper authorities.

• Classroom Matters and its personnel will not be responsible for loss or damage to your family in excess of any fees we receive from you.

By using our services, you confirm your acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
