"Jabberwalks -What to Do When There's Nothing to Do"
This summer discover a zillion exciting things to do just when
you're thinking there's nothing to do. Turn moments of seeming
"boredom" into moments of pure excitement. Come into
a land of unlimited possibilities. Become a great storyteller,
using whatever crazy stuff you can find lying around the house
plus a splash of movement and creative dramatics. Create "Boring
Boxes," thumbprint cartoons, shadow plays, puppets and flip
books. Take a trip in a time-travel machine. Play cooperative
games. Whip up goodies like tutti-fruiti kebobs and "Gummi
Worm Goopies." Design obstacle courses, surreal photo montages,
newspaper dolls, grocery bag safari gear, and learn to wow your
friends with magic tricks and cool science experiments. After
this camp, you will never again run out of ideas about how to
entertain yourself and make that journey to the center of your
imagination.

"Amazing Animals!"
"Hungry
as a horse." "Wise as an owl." "Sly as a fox."
Isn't it interesting how often we refer to animals when we're
really talking about humans? We'll examine the clever beaks of
birds and make custom beaks for our bird boutique. We'll stir
up some eggs-citement and create eggs-quisite quilts. We'll learn
fantastic facts about the world's wildest critters, play animal
charades, games like fast frozen critters, create wild animal
prints, study curious creature habits - the ingenious ways animals
have of camouflaging and protecting themselves, and make posters
to raise awareness of the plight of our endangered species friends.
